About Valle Crucis
The Valle Crucis Conference Center is located in the historic Mission School, featuring buildings dating from the late 19th Century and early 20th Century, nearly all of which are on the National Historic Register. Overlooking a peaceful, rural valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Center protects the peace of sacred ground for visitors to recharge and refresh.

Housing is in the historic Mission House. Rooms and bathrooms are shared. Ground-floor rooms are extremely limited and will be assigned on a first-served or medically necessary basis.
The Conference Center serves hearty, nutritious, delicious buffet style meals. The kitchen will do their utmost to meet dietary requirements when requested in advance.
Pet and smoke-free facility. Smoking, including vaping, is permitted in designated outside areas only. You may be subject to a $100 fine if any evidence of smoking is found inside historic buildings.
Check-in is no earlier than 3:00p.m. EDT and check-out is no later than 12:00p.m. on closing day. Conferences & retreats may continue in meeting spaces after check-out time.
