About Rev. Melissa
Rev. Melissa Hill Greenbaum, is devoting herself to interfaith/inter-spiritual work after being ordained by One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in Manhattan, New York in 2013. After 3 years of focusing on ritual/ceremonies, she became the Director of House of Prayer Retreat Center in Alva, Florida.
She was raised in the Southern Baptist community as a child and teen; however, was introduced to the Unity movement by her step-grandmother. She began attending Unity in her early 20s. After 20+ years involvement in Unity Centers/Churches, felt spiritually guided to search for an interfaith/interspiritual community. During these Unity years, she taught classes, facilitated workshops and silent retreats.
Her passion for Inter-spiritual work came out of a revelation that God is available to all of us; regardless of our particular spiritual practice. Prior to her attending seminary, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
