Melissa became an ordained minister in 2013.  She became a certified breath-work practitioner in 2025. She has been a Truth student of Christian Metaphysics for 30+ years and currently devotes herself to the Fillmore Wings Study Program developed in the early 1900s by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore.

She is the owner & founder of Front Porch Wisdom, LLC, an online ministry offering classes, inspirational writings and retreats. Prior to attending Seminary, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
